The Pillar of the Family are “The Grandparent’s”
Grandparents are a family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers, the keepers of traditions. Grandparents are the family’s strong foundation. Through their special love and care, grandparents keep a family close knit. Montfort Preparatory School, Hathiagonda, Kanke Road, Ranchi, celebrated Grandparents Day on 27th January 2019.
The chief guest for the function was Rev. Bro. Jaypal Reddy SG and the special guest was Rev. Fr. Lalit Kerketta, Divine Savior Church, Bhittha.
The function started with welcoming the grandparents followed by prayer dance and various colorful performances. Our little wings performed beautifully a skit which showcased the importance of grandparents.
The chief guest Rev. Bro. Jaypal Reddy SG and the special guest Rev. Fr. Lalit Kerketta advised to respect them and keep them strong & stable. Principal Rev. Bro. Pradeep Horo thanked each and every one for their love and support and making the day successful.
It was a successful event indeed, and the School as always would be pleased to organize many such more events. Eventually the program was concluded with the national anthem and sweets were distributed to the children
