An ‘Orientation Programme’ was organized on 31/03/2019 for the parents of Session 2019 – 2020 at Montfort School.
The programme commenced with the lighting of lamp followed by a welcome song. Sr. Anju welcomed the parents of the School to Summer Fields School Fraternity. Teachers shared the school vision, the curriculum, school systems, teaching methodologies and the co-scholastic activities. They laid stress on effective communication between the teachers and parents and also sought their support and suggestions so that the best could be done for the overall development of the students. A workshop on ‘Academic Issues’ was conducted by Ms Florence Tigga. The main focus of the workshop was to provide effective approaches to parenting.
The chief Guest Mr. Vincent Lakra, DGM-SLBC (Controlling Head-BOI)gave tips on how to nurture a child with love and care to build a strong foundation for a glorious future. He gave tips to parents as how to raise kids who are not only disciplined but at the same time happy and responsible human beings.
The Principal Br. Pradeep Horo emphasized that parents should always encourage their children in a positive manner. He gave several suggestions for being a good guardian. The Orientation Programme was very inspiring and enriching.
The programme was concluded with the National Anthem.
